Making a Difference Together The New Milton Masonic Centre

Charity is at the Heart of Freemasonry

Freemasons support charities, communities and individuals at local, national and international levels. Through personal donations, fundraising events and the work of the Masonic Charitable Foundation, Freemasonry helps provide support where it is needed.

Supporting Our Local Community

At New Milton Masonic Centre, charitable giving begins within our local community.

Our members support local charities, voluntary organisations and good causes through fundraising events, donations and practical assistance.

By working together with our families and supporters, we aim to make a positive difference to the lives of people in New Milton and the surrounding area,

Making a Difference Here in New Milton

Our charitable work can be seen in the support we give to organisations and good causes within our local community.

From donations to local charities and community organisations to fundraising events that bring people together, our members, families and supporters are proud to help make a difference.

Our recent Cricket match with the New Milton Cricket Club was a wonderful family day, bringing members of the local community together.

A donation of £500 was presented to the club to help provide two First Aid Stations and essential safety equipment.

The Festival Appeal

Every Five years, Freemasons across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight come together to support a major Festival Appeal.

The previous Festival which concluded in 2016, raised an outstanding £7 million for charitable causes.

We are currently supporting the latest five -year Festival appeal, which concludes in 2027. Members are encouraged to make a personal commitment to regular giving, with many choosing to contribute £500 over the five- year period

Through these individual commitments, together with fundraising events and Lodge donations, Freemasons across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight continue to make a significant difference to people and communities in need.

Freemasons in the Community

Twice each year, Freemasons in our Province hold “ Freemasons in the Community” events in Lymington and Bournemouth.

Local charities and good causes are invited to join us for an evening where donations are presented and we have an opportunity to learn more about the important work they carry out in our communities.

These events are an important part of our charitable work and help us maintain relationships with the organisations and volunteers working to support local people.
